Close Encounters, 30D Records sub label, keeps its initial main purpose of delivering four tracks from four different producers under the same musical concept. And exceptionally for this 10th anniversary, and for the very first time, also under the same musical style.
Julia Govor, Amotik, Yogg and Electric Indigo, all of them close friends to the label, dive into the broken-beat territory, offering their particular vision of the genre, as personal and varied as interesting, and not only dance floor focused.

Since its inception at the end of 2014, and initially taking inspiration from 40's & 50's science fiction culture, the label has been offering to listeners a vast array of genres, being experimental, creative and forward-thinking dance music its main mission.

Tercera recopilación resumida Cultro Sub Costa lanzada por el equipo industrial/noise/techno con sede en Praga Wrong sigue las dos primeras cintas Suspicion of Doubt (2017) y Times to Sin (2018) y ahora representa el período 2019-2024. Temas antiguos se encuentran con otros nuevos, nombres extranjeros se encuentran con artistas locales y los géneros chocan en esta cinta doble. 

Un lado que comienza con el nerviosismo introductorio de ensueño de Bernardino Femminielli estableciendo el tono, seguido por un febril viaje de trampa ASMR de Okitap, el maravilloso sonido de sintetizador de Oil Thief, cortes sucios de punk-electro de Kabal y HANGMAN, el pesado movimiento cibernético de la pista de baile de Swordsmith y cerrando con Vein Data y su balada electro de guitarra overdrive.

La cara B está llena de abstracción y rareza y se abre con el ambiente industrial cinematográfico de Amethyst, luego cambia las mareas hacia un territorio más rítmico con la vibra ocultista de Espectra Negra, el hipnótico drama sintetizado de baja fidelidad de Christophe Clébard, la locura rítmica jodida de Carrageenan y la melancolía ambiental de Kult Masek.

El lado C comienza con No Nation dando un poderoso golpe electrónico, seguido de un fuerte estruendo electro de JNKR, Blush Response con su techno roto, agudo y apresurado, el sucio grind de Filmmaker, Ireen Amnes con su frialdad impulsada por sintetizadores, el trancy trágico de Destruction Derby y EBM entra en trance. pista de HKKPTR.

El recopilatorio se cierra en la cara D con los dos últimos invitados: STATIQBLOOM y su monstruo techno apocalíptico y Zuzana Hakl con speed electro vertiginoso. Y aparte de ellos, el último lado pertenece al equipo Wrong: HYΛEN, Trauma, C4AT y The Undertaker’s Tapes.

Premiere: Third summary compilation Cultro Sub Costa released by Prague based industrial/noise/techno crew Wrong follows up the first two tapes Suspicion of Doubt (2017) and Occasions to Sin (2018) and now represents the 2019-2024 timeframe. Old tracks meet new ones, foreign names meet local artists and genres clash on this double tape. 

A side starting with dreamlike intro nervousness of Bernardino Femminielli setting up the tone, followed by feverish ASMR trap-trip of Okitap, Oil Thief’s groovy synth-noise, dirty punk-electro cuts of Kabal and HANGMAN, Swordsmith’s heavy cyber dancefloor mover and closing with Vein Data and his overdrive guitar electro ballad.

Side B is filled with abstraction and weirdness and opening with cinematic industrial ambient of Amethyst, then turning tides into more rhythmic territory with occult vibe of Espectra Negra, lo-fi hypnotic synth drama of Christophe Clébard, screwed rhythmic madness of Carrageenan and ambient melancholy of Kult Masek.

Side C starts by No Nation dealing power electronic blow, with following tight electro rumble of JNKR, Blush Response with his sharp and hasty broken techno, Filmmaker’s dirty grind, Ireen Amnes with her synth driven coldness, trancy tragic of Destruction Derby and EBM goes trance track by HKKPTR.

Compilation is closing on side D with last two guests: STATIQBLOOM and his apocalyptic techno monster and Zuzana Hakl with speed electro dizzyness. And apart from them last side belongs to Wrong crew: HYΛEN, Trauma, C4AT and The Undertaker’s Tapes.

Depth.Request proudly announces the debut full-length album from French electronic artist Pierre Berge-Cia — a culmination of two years of dedicated experimentation and creative exploration. This inaugural LP represents a significant milestone in Pierre Berge-Cia’s musical journey, showcasing his innovative approach to electronic music.

Crafted through experimental processes and delving into themes of tension, control, and movement, "If You Do, Then When?" unfolds as a visceral journey through the complexities of bodily and sensory experience. Each track is designed to reflect the human body in all its shapes and forms, using innovative sounds and structures to evoke physicality and movement, and aiming to resonate with listeners on a deeply corporeal level.

The album was produced using a combination of the Elektron Digitone synth, a Mackie CR1604 mixer, a Shure SM57 microphone, and a limited selection of digital plugins to maintain sonic consistency. Mastering was handled by Pierre’s close friend, Stefan Brown — also known as "Lesser Of". His expertise as a top-tier sound engineer at Abbey Road Studios helped shape the LP’s pristine and powerful sound identity. Additionally, the tracks were tested and refined using some of the electronic scene’s most beloved sound systems, ensuring an impactful club experience. 

The album’s artwork, created by Pierre Berge-Cia himself, is a reinterpretation of one of his favorite art performances: "Rest Energy" by Marina Abramović and Ulay. The tension of the drawn bow and the close-up framing of the subject evoke a palpable sense of danger and emotional intensity, mirroring the physical and psychological strains within human connection. Pierre used his own hands as the model, infusing the artwork with a deeply personal and intimate touch that amplifies the psychic gravity and thematic cohesion of the album.

Pierre Berge-Cia’s debut LP is a multi-sensory experience that challenges listeners to feel sound in its most physical and affective form.

The second In Vitro exhibition was held from 2 July 1986 till 30 August 1986.

Just as in the first version there was a 2-month exhibition of independent products, cassettes, magazines, books, records, multiples, etc. For this occasion we also had 8 huge photo's by Hugo Roelandt on show, which coincided with the Antwerp Photography Summer that was organised at various art galleries and institutions at the time.

As in the 1984 version, also this In Vitro was completed with a series of concerts, this time we decided to do them all on the same day, allowing you all to come over for just one day, whereas the previous edition had all the concerts on different days. And again 6 bands were contacted, in fact much more were, but some enquiries stranded for different reasons. We were somewhat proud to present Experiment Incest, a new Belgian band going through their brother/sister repertoire with banging metal and hurling vocals, Lakoste, or an automatic tennis-ball-release-machine that howls Burroughs-texts and discipline amongst sweat-shirted audiences, Vidna Obmana, a snobbish Fata Morgana, Hypnobeat, the sound of 100 hypnotic rhythms and a neurotic operator, Blood ov Christ, who couldn't leave Sweden for some mysterious crimes committed in his darker period (and thus did not play), and finally as guest of honour, Coup De Grace mystic child-torturer, parent-murderer and social threat.
