Zusammen mit dem afrikanischen Sänger und Gitarristen Tibau Tavares haben Pupkulies & Rebecca hier eine exotische Wundertüte voller stampfender Grooves, lebhafter Akkorde und eingängiger Vocals gepackt. Der Titel Saude bringt all das auf den Punkt, was während der Auftritte des Trios immer wieder enthemmte Entzückung provoziert. Nämlich einen einzigartigen Sound, der raffiniert das Live-Gefühl einer Band mit treibender elektronischer Tanzmusik kombiniert. Und der entspricht wiederum genau dem Beuteraster von Eule:nhaupt & Molle:nhauer. Das tropische Trommeln und die Samba-Pfeifen ihres Remix passen sich klanglich ganz wunderbar um die markanten Vocals und schieben den Titel mit energischem Schwung ganz weit nach vorne. Die dazugehörige Radio-Version reduziert diesen Ansatz auf sein wirksames Prinzip. Im Alleingang steuert Mollono.Bass zusätzlich einen Remix bei, in dem er die wolkenlose Stimmung des Originals mit seinem unterschwellig zwingenden Groove in die Zange nimmt.

Pupkulies & Rebecca joined forces with African singer and guitarist Tibau Tavares to deliver this exotic groove cocktail full stomping rhythms, sparkling chords and catchy vocals. The title Saude puts in a nutshell all the elements that make the gigs of the trio a rousing listening experience full of exciting twists and turns. These elements draw their power from both the energetic live feeling of a band and the dance floor boost of electronic beats.  A mixture that is obviously very compatible with the musical approach of Eule:nhaupt & Molle:nhauer. The tropical drums and samba whistles of their remix are a perfect match for the striking vocals of the original version, adding a proper dose of floorward drive. This principle is reduced to the maximum in an additional Radio-Version. Also there is a Mollono.Bass remix that embeds the cloudless mood of Saude into a perfidious groove understatement.

Sometimes described as trip-hop Waldeck's songs have a very calm and laidback theme. They often consist of mellow vocals sung either by Joy Malcolm or Brian Amos (although sometimes they consist of only Waldeck's instrumentals). While some people have mixed feelings towards the male-female vocal fluctuations, others feel that they offer versatility in the sound while still maintaining the unique style of his music.
