“Acid Improvisation” degli Amanita è una testimonianza sonora rara, una jam improvvisata su pochi accordi, registrata in sala prove a tarda notte, probabilmente nel 1996. Un viaggio musicale nato in un’atmosfera onirica, sospesa tra fumi d’alcol e altro, con l’unico obiettivo di lasciar scorrere liberamente mente e musica.
La voce di Samuele Marchisio (scomparso neanche due anni fa) vibra con intensità viscerale, capace di far tremare la pelle. Aldo Gallizzi intreccia linee di chitarra acide e graffianti, mentre Marco Olia tesse le fondamenta con il suo basso pulsante. Marcello Meridda guida la jam con una batteria essenziale ma ipnotica, e Silvio Vinci colora l’intero spazio con i riverberi caldi e psichedelici del suo organo.

Recuperata dagli archivi analogici delle sessioni degli Amanita, questa registrazione è un frammento prezioso della scena musicale sassarese degli anni ’90: pura improvvisazione, libertà totale e vibrazioni che ancora oggi sanno catturare e trasportare.
