Hi guys! I'm Alex, an Indie Synth-Pop Artist and I'm releasing my single here for you to enjoy!

Ever struggle to believe you’ll end up with the person that’s right for you? Who shares the same values and goals as you do when it comes to life and your relationship? So do I, and I transformed that inner mental chatter into downtempo synth-pop music with, hopefully, relatable lyrics in ‘Waiting for You’. It’s a laid back reminder to hold on to your commitment of waiting for the one who’s worth it. It’s for anyone waiting for their own person, who has a high standard and knows what they want and holds on to their belief that with enough
patience it will be worth the wait when it happens. It’s not always easy navigating a culture where we’re constantly swiping on dating apps, ghosting, seeking no strings attached fun, all while hustling in what sometimes feels like a cold and competitive city. Sometimes you yearn for someone you know you can lean on when times get tough and vice versa.

When I first wrote this song, it started out as an arpeggiated chord shortly after feeling inspired from my trip to Barcelona. It was my first attempt at starting a song from scratch in a while and I surprised myself with a downtempo vibe. It really let the arpeggiated synths breathe and create a heightened sense of reality. As the song developed it inspired me to reflect on how I was getting older and still hadn’t met someone I thought was worth being in a relationship with.

Alex did, and that’s the feeling he personifies in ‘Ungrateful’.

The pain of losing someone so close to you when you’re already dealing with other losses in your personal life was the catalyst for this dance diss track. After his heart felt shaken and betrayed and the panic from the trauma left him feeling smaller than ever, Alex now delivers a song meant to embody the moment of a mic drop after having the final word on his side of the story and laying it all on the table. This electric in-your-face deep house dance track was written as a way to process, heal and move on by dancing past the drama. To remind yourself of the person you are and your worth to others even when you have different love languages.
