Purplepink X has studied classical piano since childhood and learned how to play the acoustic guitar during high-school. The first music and lyrics were written during university years and part of the music was performed acoustically in public in 2005.

The music can be described as indie/melodic rock with folk/acoustic elements, influenced by artists from the early and later developed rock, hard rock, also metal (fantasy, power, progressive…) scene. While the 1st album was recorded acoustically, the 2nd and 3rd album were recorded with the help of different musicians. However, part of the music of the 3rd album is to be recorded again, as there is room for additional changes such as extra vocals and additional instrumental input. 

While various feelings are expressed via the lyrics, one of the latest songs refers to one of the many animal rights important topics of our time, the Canadian seal ''hunt'' (How long they'll seek).
