This album marks a natural evolution in Alex's career. Over the past 18 months, he was in the studio on an almost daily basis. Moreover, he brought the album on the road, drawing inspiration from the sights and sounds of his travels.

As a touring DJ, Alex has graced stages with headline sets across the globe, spanning from South America to Australia. The laidback warmth from these exotic destinations resonates within the immersive sound of this album.

The album is drenched in atmospheric vibes, yet retains the dance floor-focused energy that is the trademark sound of his uplifting style.

Fondly reminiscing about the music of a younger me, I often sense a certain soulfulness lacking in today's electronic music. In an attempt to explore this feeling, I went on a bit of a self-reset and a touch of reinvention. This involved changing my usual routines and adopting some old-school methods, such as sampling beats and instruments from vintage vinyl records, blending them with my current sound. The album is intended to feel personal and intimate for my listeners. I aimed to create a moment of intimacy, as if they are listening to the songs alongside me while on their way home."

The 14-track release will be available through Solis Records, Alex O'Rion's newly established record label, launched in 2023.

Nowadays, finding a good full-length album is challenging, which is a real shame. For decades, the LP was a beacon of artistic intention, but streaming platforms like Spotify have reshaped the way music listeners engage with music. To hold attention, it needs to stand out. It needs dynamics. Thankfully, 'Nostalgia,' the new Alex O'Rion full-length, does just that. We had an illuminating conversation with the producer about what makes this album such an essential listen.

Being involved in dance music since the late 90's, Alex Pana aka Alexisphere got serious with the progressive scene in 2000. As a result of his growing popularity as "track picker" he started justmusicevents and had an opening event with his favorite producer GUY J. He has  been performing on events in Netherlands and Greece.  Finally, in 2014 he started a new label called JustMovement, being an affiliate label  of Movement Recordings. In 2016, a collaboration has started with The recycle lounge gallery club in Amsterdam.  In April the labelshowcase featured Pole Folder (B), in May Roger Martinez (NL) and followed by D Molosh (BLR) and A Hevia (Chi). ADE showcases in 2016.2017 and 18. The last one at Club NL.
Finally, he is hosting  Just Movement's Radioshow each month on ProtonRadio.
