Very special episode today for you all.

Alex Kislov has been in my life since I first got to Chicago and we decided that this is officially the 3rd chapter in our friendship especially considering it's his 3rd time on the show.

But this is no ordinary episode, we are here to talk about his debut album "Dream Sequence" - a true masterpiece and work of art that is years in the making and you can tell right away how much went into creating it.

"Dream Sequence" is a 10 track album featuring the vocals of Chicago House music legend Ron Carroll, globally recognized vocalist Leo Wood and not to mention his lovely wife Eliza. The album takes you on a journey through a dreamworld of sound and creativity. From start to finish, you can tell things progress in a natural but captivating way. 

It's really special to see Alex at this point in his career because I've honestly never seen him radiate passion like this. He really cares about and is deeply committed to his craft. Gotta respect that!

"With the release of his debut album Dream Sequence imminent, Alex Kislov releases the latest single from the LP, Time Stops, straddling the boundary between deep, melodic and progressive house and accompanied by an incredible music video. 

Alex Kislov has become a rising figure in Chicago's electronic music scene. His sound, a mix of deep house, techno, and experimental rhythms, has landed him sets at venues like Radius and Spybar. Tracks like "This Is the Way" and "Want to Feel" have gained airplay on key radio shows and podcasts, with his collaborations drawing attention from leading music blogs.

Recently Kislov played one of the biggest gigs of his career at EVOL AFTERS Electric Forest afterparty, performing live to thousands of ravers, followed by multiple sets at Burning Man 2024. 

New single Time Stops is indicative of the kind of quality you can expect from Dream Sequence. Stunning, evocative, deeply emotional synth lines are paired with slick, punchy beats, providing the perfect bed for a the spoken word vocal, reminiscent of the golden age of progressive house. 

A music video producer by MAA Films will also be released alongside the single.

Alex Kislov’s debut album was announced back in May with the release of lead single Daydream featured the vocal talents of Ron Carroll. The title track followed; a beautiful deep, melodic, affecting slice of house music with an emotionally-charged vocal from UK singer-songwriter Leo Wood and slick, subtle production from Kislov.
