One Path is a one-track album full of dub techno and melodic house elements and influences. The idea for this track came from a talk by the great Sadhguru. Parts of his talk were transcribed and processed using an online text-to-speech tool to generate a very long speech sample. The sample was then stretched and manipulated to fit the vibe of the track.

The monotonous speech together with dark dub chords, groovy percussion, hypnotic leads and dreamy pads make One Path a truly deep experience of self-discovery and self-reflection through the wise words of the Guru.

One Path

Stop & Go was originally inspired by the atmosphere of Berlin, its city lights, Ampelmännchen story and a very special vibe that none other city I've visited has. It is an old track, finished some time in 2019, but I have been postponing its release for some reason, unknown to me. Now it's out and hopefully the chill vibe and dreamy melodies will brighten someone's day.

Stop & Go

"Consumed" was created as a live jam on YouTube which I later produced into a finished track. It was my first proper performance using hardware synths and sequencers. I tried to keep things relatively simple and the track turned out quite dark, deep and hypnotic. Later, in the post-production, I added a few more elements to make it a bit less monotonic.

In a way this jam made me rethink my approach to writing music. I have started using more hardware, and I find this workflow very "hands on" and very "in the moment" which resonates well with my personality.

Whispers

Track inspired by a movie called IO and the thoughts it provoked. The movie got a lot of negative critique, but it resonated with me in some way and inspired me to write music.

Random Particles of Love

Alex Kiss is a Russian electronic music producer based in Oslo, Norway. Being a teenager in the late 80's and early 90's, he has been deeply fascinated with the underground dance music scene of that time. To capture that fascination and passion he started producing his own music using tracker software. The limitations of trackers of the 90's forced him to work outside the box and to come up with creative ways of producing music, which later became part of his sound and philosophy of music writing. Following his passion for music and technology, he traveled to Sweden to study professional music production. After many releases and several high placements in various music scene competitions Alex stopped producing because of personal reasons, but the music has never stopped being one of his most burning passions.

Now, almost 20 years later, he is back, older, wiser and armed with better tools, but with the same drive to create electronic music that stands out and touches others. Being influenced by many bands of the past and a lot of music from today, Alex is not pursuing to produce music in one specific genre. Instead he strives to create music that speaks to people and touches their souls. His sound is progressive, organic, intimate and raw.
