VIA is not just the name of our new single, it’s the main principle of it’s evolution: As smooth start for a songwriting weekend, @michiehahn took his nylon guitar and played a jazzy chord progression. The moment VIA was born. After a quick demo recording to catch these latin guitar vibes, @yosev_ and us started to lay down some drums. As we had a fun session that day, the 4 of us recorded the chorus chants, shouting full voice. By the end of the session, we knew something organic has to lead the song. So we did another recording session with a trombonist. By that time, we had been talking regularly with our homie @the_breed_producer, aka 1/2 of @papichurromusic. Of course we thought it’d be perfect and honoring to have them involved as they’re known for crafting a super authentic latin but modern vibe. Luckily, they agreed and refined the song with their warm, organic Papi Churro sound and brought VIA to the next level. Finally, Mix&Mastering legend @lexbarkey ran the last meters with his art and VIA was finished. We hope you’ll enjoy the single as much as we enjoyed creating it. We made this as a sonic embodiment of getting together and enjoying being with others in sun. After finishing it during various lockdowns we renamed it 'Things We Used To Do' in the hope it could remind people of what it was like before we were all locked down.

This track is pure nostalgia. A reminder of getting together with uninhibited enjoyment, as we are needing more and more reminders that it can and will exist again.
