In the beginning, I must say that I have a long-term relationship with Quirk. I must say, that since their first record, I even got a signed card from Alexander Skancke, who was working at Bikini Waxx and sold my friend the record I asked to buy for me (which I didn’t know at the time). So, it’s kinda understandable, that I like the label, especially, lately, on their “hot streak”, as I would say. But I must add, that their newest one is over-the-top even for Quirk standards. Born and raised in Taipei since 1993, Klosing is a rare local house DJ in the scene, having already proven his taste and deep musical exploration.
Klosing is constantly discovering new sounds, artists, and labels, dedicated to creating a fusion of various styles: old-school house, Romanian minimal, breakbeat and dub techno, presenting a groovy and continuous atmosphere.

The breadth of Klosing's collection allows him to effortlessly handle any slot, opening, peak, closing or open air. His sound is precise, warm, deep (sometimes dark) and hypnotic, featuring smooth mixing and proper energy transitions that easily move raver's body.

In 2020, he launched his label - Evaporate 蒸發, which serves as a record label, podcast series, and event planner. As the curator, he decided to expose the Taiwanese scene worldwide, collaborating with artists from 50+ countries, and the story continues.

It doesn't seek fast music, the evaporation of endless grooves of permeates every corner of the dance floor, immersing people within.
