Deep Melodic Techno

Being inspired by music of Alex Banks & Max Cooper I turned on my old Polivoks synthesizer and made some recordings. The idea of this track came up on this train. I enjoyed how sounds of rail crossing, coupling of wagons create interesting patterns and textures. So I recorded them and used in my new music research. Mitch De Klein - Shift

In jewish mythology, Ziz, a gigantic bird that is so big it is able to darken the sun with its wings, ends the fight between the rivals Behemoth and Leviathan. It represents the element air in the mythological triangle. 
The track's purpose is to mimic the creature's colossal but also air-based character through a wide, airy sound with a solid base.

Alex Nelin is a producer from Ukraine, based in Barcelona. 

Began his musical career influenced by the progressive house scene of the late 90s. While working as a DJ in the first decade of the 2000s, he was inspired by the music of many great progressive artists such as John Digweed, Sasha, Quivver, and Dave Seaman.

In 2014, the war conflict began, prompting Alex to move from the eastern part to the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv - where he began his career as a music producer. In the beginning of 2021, Nelin released his debut single for Stripped Digital titled "Fragile". This was followed by his first full EP "Reconstruction", "Last Train", and "Monologue", which featured great remixes from Theus Mago and Luze.

During 2022-2023, Nelin had some successful releases, including an amazing remix of "Western Sun" by Habischman. Additionally, Alex is known for his remixes; he has worked on tracks for Kamilo Sanclemente, Aerial Grey, Javier Duque, etc.

In 2023, Nelin started his radio show "Progressive City", which brings fresh, darker shades of progressive house and melodic techno on a monthly basis.

Today, Nelin continues to bring us new releases, remixes, and collaborations that are permeated with a deep atmosphere, groove, and melody.
