On occasion of Diynamic's latest release, the Various Artist EP series called "Four To The Floor", we'd like to introduce to you the participating artists, by letting them mix a Diynamic Radio Show.

The second EP "Four To The Floor 02" is out today and it starts with "Golden Area" by Undercatt, which is actually their first release in this constellation. On working with Solomun, they say “A few days after we sent over our demos, he replied personally telling us that he really liked our music and he will play it to the other guys in the Diynamic family for opinions. We were thrilled and super excited. Later we had the chance to meet him and we talked a lot. He showed us the special person he is.“
Those of you who have been to our Diynamic Showcase at Ritter Butzke in Berlin on November 8th already had the chance to experience their DJing skills, when Undercatt openend up the floor and later on closed it. At 1.30 in the afternoon.

As one of the label's most consistent contributors, Travis Jesse has built a reputation for crafting emotive, groove-driven productions that perfectly capture 3rd Avenue's signature sound. Hailing from Australia, his previous releases on the imprint have become staples in the sets of melodic house and techno DJs worldwide.

For this special EP package, the label has assembled an impressive remix roster: Argentinean talents Matías Delóngaro and Nicko MZ each bring their distinct flavor, while fellow Australian Astrek completes the trio of reinterpretations. **THE STORY**

At the dawn of the 19th century, a shadow is cast upon the Scottish shores of Loch Sìne. 

Childhood companions Isla and Struan, bound by the sea and an unspoken promise, are torn from each other's lives. Pressured by duty, Struan joins the British Navy, leaving Isla with a precious gift and a vow to return. But the years apart bring many changes - both at home and at sea.

As Struan is set to return, a rot has taken hold in the village. The men have grown weak, their traditions abandoned, and their leaders corrupted. From across the waves, Isla, gifted with second sight, witnesses a horrifying vision: an unholy force attacking Struan's fleet.

Her warnings to the men of the village are ignored. Despite a storm, Isla takes to her boat in a desperate search for Struan, who she senses is fighting a losing battle.
Now, as the demonic tide finally crashes ashore, their childhood promise becomes an epic quest. 

Confronting the darkness, is the light they hold enough to pull the world back from the brink?

Guys, we’re back with another Monday cocktail !

This time one of the Schirmchendrink founders, Floloco, honors us with his mixing skills and grabs the shakers for a delicious Mai Tai !

As a kid of the 90s Floloco was into electronic music early on. It was in 2001 when he started to play around with the decks – and didn’t stop ever since. 

His style developed from electronica over House to Deep House and Techno. His Mixes are mellow, well compiled and always build up in a unique flow to take the listener on that famous “journey”. Floloco doesn’t mind to spend weeks for the track selection until he found the perfect match for his mix. 

Playing live he often uses more energized tracks for the peak time and he loves to mix different styles or to enrich his set with classics. 

In August 2015, together with his Belgian friend Bigasti, he founded Schirmchendrink, a quickly growing electronic underground music podcast and soon record label. 

Enough said, we’re sure you gonna like this tasty Mai Tai!

We’re beyond excited to be welcoming the sensational Hydrangea to Corsica Studios on 21st July, an incredible DJ and producer based in France but making beautiful, earthly ripples on the deep and atmospheric techno realms around the world; her personal ethos which can be felt throughout her music being: “Look deeper into nature and you will understand everything better.” We couldn’t agree more.

To immerse yourself in the sounds of Hydrangea is to immerse yourself in nature itself and with the attention given to her music - both productions and mixes - comes a very natural state of inner peace, acceptance and hopefulness. Spiritual techno, we like to call it, infused with atmospheric soundscapes and often deep, rolling, dub-like grooves grounding you like the roots of a tree. Pay a visit to Annulled Music and Natch Records to delve through her multiple releases, or of course settle into this very beautiful podcast recorded just for On the 5th Day to hear what we mean.

Hydrangea’s deep, contemplative sound, her talent for storytelling and the solidarity of her vision which radiates through everything that she does makes her a perfect artist for an On the 5th Day techno tale, and it was just a case of waiting for the perfect opportunity to lock her in. Svreca, who will make his second On the 5th Day residency appearance on the 21st of this month, shares the same sentiment when it comes to Hydrangea, which is why together we wholeheartedly agreed she belonged on this line up; and is also why her music has found itself on the Semantica label. We know Svreca is thrilled to be sharing a line up with her, and to be seeing her making her London debut.

As if her musical talents weren’t enough, Hydrangea is also a photographer and graphic designer, producing the visual work for the Inveins podcast series which captures the beauty of nature in its trust essence, as well as working on artwork for multiple releases and projects. We have reached the 7000 mark which is quite unbelievable seeing how small the idea was when we released the first podcast over 5 years ago. A DJ and renown producer hailing from Paris, he is a fantastic digger of absolute groovy tracks and his selection is on point to give you a lovely flowing mix. Having produced on labels such as Smokecloud Records and Masterworksmusic amongst others, he is one of those underground artists who knows his stuff and when it comes to groove he has 110% of that.

As a DJ, producer and label boss of AEON, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann’s career has been instrumental in the continued development of electronic dance music. His ever-restless creativity and desire to build a platform for music that defines the deeper side of the electronic spectrum, led Alex to launch his very successful label, AEON in 2013 – an imprint which has gone on to play an integral part in building Alex’s impressive repertoire of releases to this point and beyond.
