Volume 2 of the new Under One Roof series that features new talent on Poker Flat Recordings pairs together Thorsten Hammer feat. Jade PraiZe and Anton Mcmillan for a brace of sublime cuts that drive the genre in quite different directions.

Hammer’s World On Shoulders is the work of the DJ and producer from Germany's creative 'Rhein-Main-Area ́, and boasts exceptional vocals from the Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Jade PraiZe. 

Lithuanian producer and DJ Anton Mcmillan also shares Casual Insanity, a trippy, grooving track with some unexpected twists.

Latidos Analogo is a raw, machine-driven track inspired by the imperfections of hardware-based production.
Built with minimal processing, few elements, and a strong focus on groove rather than precision, the track embraces saturation, repetition, and subtle instability to recreate the feeling of sound passing through real machines.
The kick is driven by analog-style saturation, and the master is intentionally simple, avoiding heavy processing to preserve dynamics and character.
This is not a polished digital production — it is a loop-based, hardware-inspired piece where imperfection becomes part of the rhythm.
Designed for deep listening, late-night systems, and those who value character over perfection.

Latidos

It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The result is our first joint EP, of which I am very proud. (Thomas Schumacher, November 2015)

Summer Nights is a gorgeous groover from Pablo Bolivar, which will transport you to the middle of July. Pablo Bolivar needs little introduction, as one of Spain?s most prominent figures in electronic music. The Barcelona based producer is one half of the famous Pulshar outfit with Aphro Sainz and he has released albums on labels such as Regular and his own Avantroots label. He is active as a DJ and regularly spins internationally, as well as performing live alone and with Sainz as Pulshar. The original version of Summer features warm synth play, pointed percussion and shining keys. Diynamic recording artist Piek?s remix features blissful chords, a bubbling bassline and vocal mirages. Aiby &amp; The Noise sees Barcelona based DJ International Bitch team up and bring us a remix that lets melodic keys have their say over bass tremors and synth hits. Label boss GarcyNoise?s remix is a rhythmic affair, with complex percussion patterns and synth rushes.   Embrace the summer; it?s already here for your listening pleasure!

Truesoul presents the first original Ida Engberg EP since 2014.

A vital member of the Truesoul and Drumcode family, we’ve been anticipating a production return from Ida Engberg for some time now. Not that she’s been idle. Busy settling into a new home in Ibiza and raising three children with Adam Beyer, she’s also been heavily involved in climate activism, social justice issues and animal protection. 

Everything happens in perfect timing. And no one knows this better than Engberg; innately aware of the creative space and the time a project needs to bloom. A work almost 12 months in the making, ‘Return to Consciousness’ is her transcendental five-track return to music creation.

‘Reverse Time (Intro)’ is ritualistic in intent, a two-and-a-half-minute ambient opener that sets the tone for what’s to come. The title track is sublime cosmic house, brought to life by lush pads, swirling arpeggios in the break and a delicate vocal that amplifies its message. ‘House of Colours’ is a delicious tribal roller, driven by a chanting vocal line that yanks us towards the dancefloor. ‘The 8th Fire’ embodies an undeniable old school early morning spirit, with its distinctive melodic hook. ‘Reverse Time’ is a searing late night techno composition that builds the energy to fever pitch, before bringing us back down to a sated state. All in all, a career-best work and well worth the wait.

As a DJ, producer and label boss of AEON, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann’s career has been instrumental in the continued development of electronic dance music. His ever-restless creativity and desire to build a platform for music that defines the deeper side of the electronic spectrum, led Alex to launch his very successful label, AEON in 2013 – an imprint which has gone on to play an integral part in building Alex’s impressive repertoire of releases to this point and beyond. His aim for the label is to build a representative artistic platform that mirrors the peak time DJ sets that he plays, referencing the spirit of classic, timeless house and techno and updating it for the future.
