Au centre de l'étoile à cinq branches que forme Le monde des Fleurs se tient le grand Irminsul. Un arbre dont il n'est possible de distinguer que les branches basses, les plus hautes côtoyant les cieux, au-dessus des nuages. On raconte que jadis, après l'invasion des Carnivoras, Irminsul aurait jailli de l'antre de la planète, pour veiller sur les années à venir. A son pied, une hutte. Elle abriterait le Landscapes Dessinateur. Personne ne s'en est jamais approché.

Irminsul, le pilier du monde

Aereal ist eine Reise durch schwebende Klangwelten, in denen hypnotische Basslines und atmosphärische Synthflächen ineinanderfließen. Das Album verbindet tiefe, pulsierende Rhythmen mit sphärischen Melodien, die sich langsam entfalten und den Hörer in einen Zustand von Schwerelosigkeit versetzen.

Jeder Track ist wie ein Aufstieg – von dunkler, erdnaher Energie bis hin zu lichten, ätherischen Höhen. Die Stücke wirken meditativ und treibend zugleich: mal introspektiv und verträumt, mal voller kosmischer Weite und subtiler Spannung.

Mit Aereal entsteht ein Soundtrack für die Nachtstunden, perfekt für Club, Kopfhörer oder die stille Reise ins Innere. Ein Album für alle, die im Deep Trance nicht nur Tanzmusik, sondern ein Tor zu anderen Dimensionen suchen.

Rising talent Tibi Dabo, aka Max Guardans, brings his distinct and eloquent production to Rebellion this Summer with two tracks that will set dance floors alight across the globe. 

Title track La Dorada creates a brooding atmosphere with synths that weave together over industrial drum pads and an intricate, twinkling melody that descends into a crescendo of percussion. No Mantra adds a touch of elegance, with sparkling drum patterns and dreamy keys. Tibi Dabo ​explains that the title track is also the “the name of my childhood home near Barcelona”. By connecting his music and his hometown, or “safe space” as he calls it, he says he “can personally feel a close relationship between the two”. 

Tibi Dabo emerged on the scene with his first release Ende, picked up by Sasha and signed to his renowned imprint, Last Night On Earth. Having made the move from his home of Barcelona to the musical mecca of Berlin, Tibi Dabo creates infectious soundscapes that showcase his ability to conjure up music that plays out an abstract story. Having received a coveted Essential New Tune spot from Radio 1 tastemaker Pete Tong, and now signing to Damian Lazarus’ label, Tibi Dabo’s star is set to rise as he becomes ever-bold in his musical output.

It was nearly a year ago when these two graced with their hugely successful track ‘Hope’ on our ‘Watergate XV’ various artist compilation. Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis come together again to deliver the stunning ‘Love Letters From Sicily’ where infectious organic grooves pave the way for a flourishing well of emotions in the form of lush pads and shimmering sonics that unfold into a tale of epic cinematic proportions. From start to finish it’s a intimate piece of aural imagery, yet the duo always keep a keen percussive focus making it ideal for any dancefloor moment. 

To complement ‘Love Letters from Sicily’, we’ve enlisted the one and only John Digweed to rework Meyer and Davis’ original of ‘Hope’, and with no surprise, he’s given it the master’s touch. Staying true to the original, while at the same time reinventing the storyline and constructing tension by saving the powerful harmonies for a later climax, he’s crafted a revision that’s both driving and timeless.

As a DJ, producer and label boss of AEON, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann’s career has been instrumental in the continued development of electronic dance music.
