Who or what is Reset Robot? The chances are, if you've been more than an occasional visitor to any of the world's more discerning dancefloors, you'll most likely have been exposed to the sound; you may have already given yourself up to the techno and house excursions that have become the Reset Robot blueprint.

Emerging rejuvenated from the studio in 2009, Reset Robot announced himself with the licensing of no fewer than 6 tracks to Dubfire's label Sci+Tec. Further releases followed on Adam Beyer's Drumcode & Truesoul, Sven Väth's Cocoon and Slam's Soma Records. Current and future releases can also be found on Dogmatik and Intacto, but he has truly discovered a spiritual home on Beyer’s Truesoul sitting comfortably alongside some of the scene’s leading lights- Maetrik, Joel Mull, Ida Engberg and many more. 

With a tour diary taking in territories as diverse as Australia, USA and all corners of Europe. He has made appearances at Fabric, Tobacco Docks London with Drumcode, Space Miami and Panorama Bar Berlin.

With a sound that is at times minimal, yet always accessible; dark, but displaying flashes of blinding light; heavy, though so often floating weightless; Reset Robot is the best kind of contradiction. But you already knew that. And if you didn't, now is the time to find out.

Exclusive WhoMadeWho 'I Don't Know (Stereocalypse Remix)'

Set off by a simple and consistent bassline, a tangible drum beat, we are lured into the 7:51 track with a steady grate of percussion followed by a gradual interpolation of electronic application. Complex strata of organic and synthetic sounds emerge fluidly and ascend into a harmonious climax, which with the brief omission of the dominant drum beat, preludes into the first vocal at exactly one minute. A beautiful interchange between instrumental and vocal and Stereocalypse’s dextrous play of diminishing and aggrandizing elements to draw on and draw out the emotions of the original track, are the vim and vigor of this remix. Through a firm and innovative control of tempo and complexity, the remix accentuates the turbulent emotional implications of the track’s lyrics, making it more poignant. WhoMadeWho’s provocative music videos are the icing on the cake to their music, adding the third dimension to their exceptional lyrics and sound. In their remix of I Don’t Know, Stereocalypse’s adds the right elements that bring listeners as close to an audio-visual experience as possible. Hence, there is no wonder that what WhoMadeWho bandmember Tomas Barfod identified as 'a very mellow remix', continues to infiltrate dance floors. Barfod, co-producer of the track had already said it best: 'It somehow turns out to be quite euphoric when played in the club.'

Stereocalypse's remix for WhoMadeWho was released on September 1st, 2017 on Embassy Of Music.

Combining forces, Audiofly and Patrice Bäumel draw on unique inspirations from the desert to deliver the monumental Atacama on Crosstown Rebels. Having focused solely on his own productions in the past, label boss Damian Lazarus steps away for the first time to complete this exceptional release with a profound re-shape.

The hypnotic Atacama intricately builds with a certain intensity that never drops, stimulating the senses and transporting the mind as deep, grumbling pads drift in and out of play. Damian Lazarus remembers “the first moment I heard this track I knew there was something very special about it, not only did it strike me as a killer club record but I also felt the textures completely appropriate to my own experiences in the Atacama desert.” On the flip, Damian changes gear as a deep, chugging beat leads the way through an impressive re-shape of the original.

Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito aka Audiofly have established a creative empire, which includes two record labels and their Flying Circus global party brand. They met Patrice during a US tour and immediately hit it off. “It wasn't long after that we decided to invite him to Barcelona for a session that proved to be nothing short of Inspirational.”

Internationally renowned DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel has had a busy start to 2017 with a release on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife imprint, plus remixes for Sasha & Policia and Depeche Mode amongst others. He truthfully said of the this release, “it's a labour of love that came together within a few hours of jamming in the studio, unlike many 'collabs' this one really felt like we all equally contributed to the end result.“

For the past two years, we have been playing almost every production by Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge. Now we're very happy to welcome both of them on Innervisions IV38. "Lost In A Moment" is a track that has given us goosebumps when playing it out in the clubs. A Dixon Mix on the flipside takes a different approach and shows that the summer season is just around the corner.

As a DJ, producer and label boss of AEON, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann’s career has been instrumental in the continued development of electronic dance music. His ever-restless creativity and desire to build a platform for music that defines the deeper side of the electronic spectrum, led Alex to launch his very successful label, AEON in 2013 – an imprint which has gone on to play an integral part in building Alex’s impressive repertoire of releases to this point and beyond. His aim for the label is to build a representative artistic platform that mirrors the peak time DJ sets that he plays, referencing the spirit of classic, timeless house and techno and updating it for the future.
