2022 June Deep Progressive

Sam Albasini or widely known as @aston-alba started making and producing his music around the age of 14 when he first discovered Techno. Just as soon as he was grasped by the emotional side that this sub-core of dance/electronic music has, he found his calling in this very musical lane to mark his own stamp on the international scene.
The Switzerland-based DJ/Producer takes everything—every sorrow and melancholy—within and surrounding him into the process of creating his distinctive sound which brings the listeners to the more grand, cinematic feeling that is rarely heard in mostly Techno numbers. Unlike the others—Aston Alba is more than just loops of cuts and samples, but rather he does not let any emotional gap occur in his track as he carefully creates an array of rich detailed instrumental sounding by fusing the essential elements of Techno with both Middle Eastern sounds and dissonant Esoteric beats and instrumentations which resulted into such hypnotizing ambient textured touch in each of his tracks to match the kind of emotion that he would like to convey through. His catalogs to date—from the EP “The Crow” and “Amon-Rê” (2018) to “Mesopotamia” and “Anubis” (2020)—offer you such diverse moving soundscapes in which either the euphoric or the slow-driven ones have the same slow-built hypnotic quality that will find you losing yourself, floating through your own singular journey throughout the music. Aston Alba indeed has the ear to create sounds that are precisely needed to express himself until the cadence of Aston Alba’s music effortlessly shines through in his every release.

Born in Colombia, raised in Dominican Republic and graduated from Mexico but finally settling back to the caribbean, hence where the name https://soundcloud.com/dulusmusica comes from; a long tailed bird endemic to the island La Española(Dominican Republic and Haiti).

Dulus tries to combine all those cultures into a single groovy deep house sound, infusing melancholic melodies with grooves that keep you on your feet.

BIOGRAPHY

GMJ aka Gavin Martin from Melbourne Australia is a producer with an innate passion for deep emotive electronic music. The GMJ project focuses on deep rhythms and spatial textures, always with an ear on forward-thinking sonics, representing an outward reflection of inner states. Born of a passion and love for music that moves and awakens the senses, the GMJ project is constantly evolving and reshaping itself into the new.

"Deep synth lines, driving bass and pulsating rhythms are all part of Matter’s captivating signature style." From humble beginnings as a DJ performing in the clubs of Melbourne and London, Matter now finds himself spending his time carefully sculpting new audio landscapes in his studio. His vision is a simple but profound one, with his music he aims to take each and every listener on a spontaneous and inspiring journey. As a live act Matter brings his own unique energy, engaging the crowd and shaping each performance into its own distinct experience. 

Melbourne’s GMJ (Gavin Martin) and Matter (Matty Doyle) joined forces in late 2015, a triggered recognition and magnetism for their shared perspectives and love for deep atmospheric music leading to the formation of the GMJ & Matter collaboration. Over the next 6 years a natural synergy and seamless understanding has seen works constantly flow with remixes for Pole Folder, Juan Deminicis, Nopi, Donny Car & Zankee Gulati amongst a raft of original works on seminal labels including Balance Music, Jee productions, Proton Music, Mango Alley & onedotsixtwo. Studio success has translated into demand from a constantly growing number of respected festivals and clubs both locally and abroad, highlighted by a European Tour in 2019 with gigs for Progressive Astronaut in London and Replug Records 10th anniversary at ADE in Amsterdam. Joining forces in 2020 with Morning After Agency saw an acceleration and springboard of growth toward headlining gigs both locally and on a global scale. The same year set the stage for the conception and constant growth of the pair's “Meanwhile Recordings” imprint, which opened to high regard throughout the industry, both as a platform for their own signature sounds and as a home to some of the world’s finest. With support from heavyweights including Guy J, Nick Warren & Hernan Cattaneo, among others, and with many amazing artists and releases on the horizon, Meanwhile has established itself firmly as a top 10 global label in progressive house. With constant inspiration raising the heights in reflection, the future is to the stars!
