We are so happy that Istanbul's Ozgur Ozkan agreed to provide us with his second contribution to our guest mix series!

Ozgur loved electronic music from an early age. It wasn’t long before he realized that making music is even more enjoyable than listening to it. Ozgur DJ’s in various clubs and venues within Turkey and Europe, and has produced a myriad of tracks since 2007. His music is progressive and dark, with some deephouse and breakbeat influences. 

We were blessed to meet Ozgur in person, and discovered him to be humble, gracious, and friendly, in addition to being a killer DJ.

Hi! This is my first track in this genre. I created it in Ableton Live 12 Lite. I tried to make the most out of the 8 available tracks to achieve a sound that I really like, and it was a very interesting experience. I’m increasingly drawn to this style and hope to release more music in a vinyl-inspired aesthetic in the future.

To those who came to me after my first two tracks, I apologize and hope you understand this change in style. I didn’t feel truly happy while making those tracks. In this music, I’m more involved as a musician, and it brings me joy, despite the melancholic sound.

I’d really appreciate your support. I’m also raising funds for the full version of Ableton, as I know it would allow me to unlock more potential. But for now, this is what we have. Thank you for your attention!
