I can’t flip the switch,
When I give it a try,
The light turns on alone,
While I sit idly by.

I can’t hold the pen,
It weighs too much for me,
The thought of it alone is beautiful but scary.

But when the ink ends,
At the final refrain,
I’ll click on the pen,
And write again the same way.

I tend to stay away
From waters unclear,
If ripples come my way,
I’d rather not be too near

Is a case of mediocrity
But i know I hold inside,
A strength that isn’t easy to find

And rarely ask myself why.

What does it matter anyway,
Counting the tiles on the bathroom floor,

They say I’m the one,
Who’ll pick up his things and go,
A man living on county lines,
And jumping in head first all the time.

I find it surreal,
That all of our moments,
Have bled into oceans.
Paint the sea…

Red, rosy-colored cheeks are my flaws,
I fear a fear of it all,
But I try.
But still I…

I find life unclear,
They say live between the lines,
What if I’ve grown to love the chains?
