Produced by acclaimed sound artist-composer, Alex Sharp Cole, who composed all background instrumentation(everything other than the female vocal and acoustic guitar) and who bases his artistic practice as performance artist, songwriter and producer in Gothenburg, Sweden.

When the novice artist, Martina Book, approached Alex Sharp Cole and asked him if he would possibly record, produce ...and help make the vision she had of her song into a reality.  Alex Sharp Cole agreed to do so, free of charge -- his only request was that he would be credited fairly for the work he had done -- Alex Sharp Cole believes in doing this... in helping the plight of up and coming artists.  

He considers it his mission to bring good music  into the world.

It feels like channeling… sometimes when I sing it’s like different energies come through me. Maybe it’s me, but it sometimes feels really crazy.. like it genuinely comes from somewhere else..Some of this music sounds really different.  It’s all my songwriting and singing  —-some of what I’ve uploaded here comes from my solo prowhich — these are songs I’ve written, performed and produced on my own.. but also some stuff with bands I’ve been in, whom I credit and respect their collaboration. I hope you enjoy some of these songs, or connect with the music in some way. …oh yeah, I feel like SoundCloud is kind of a special place, which makes me feel like it’s ok to share hidden, unreleased or alternative tracks that I’ve never released officially on major commercial platforms… I guess that makes it a bit rough around the edges sometimes in terms of production.. but also more excitement in the unpredictability… dig it!
