Best known for his powerful stage presence and smooth vocalsc singer/songwriter Alex Walker has been performing throughout Lincoln for over 10 years. Walker is a staple in the Lincoln music scene pulling influence from artists like Jason Mraz, Ray LaMontagne and Cas Haley. Walker formed Lincoln based Higher Empathy Movement in 2010 where he found success traveling throughout the Midwest engaging audiences wherever he went. Walker along with the Higher Empathy Movement, released his first EP in 2010 titled, ‘Another Perspective’. Walker spent 2012 recording his debut solo album, ‘Waiting For Patience’ which was released in the Fall of 2012 and has been met with positive reviews from fans and critics alike. Having proven himself as a solo artist with a limitless career on the horizon, Walker is pushing forward and is in the process of developing a band to compliment his original music.
