This is my submission to Hugo Moroux's December 2022 song challenge, Flower Form.

The flower is the birth of my second son
The bud is the skills that I needed to get any of this done at all
The thorn is that if I make a sound he wakes up

So I just got him to do the vocals.

Picked them up with the built in mic on my laptop while I rocked him because I accidentally let him get too tired.

Mason Imitate Collab V2

This month's challenge was to use only one instrument. So I went with my old casio CK-500. Sampled the drums, a little bit of the radio, and a creepy tape from Chick Fillet that I forgot was in there. I didn't use the synthesizer because I feel like I'm already is pushing what is acceptable by finding a way to make jungle DnB with a dubstep break.

The growl is made from radio static.

The first rap track I have made in a loooooong time. Was very fun!

The drum samples are from my hitting different parts of my acoustic guitar and triggering them with my e-kit.

The bass guitar and electric guitar were recorded with a condenser mic from behind the body. 

I layered some clarinet harmonies.

You Stupid (Demo)

My proof that acoustic guitars don't work in space. Inspired by Aliens vs Predator (2000) for PC and every space scene in every movie and also Voyager for one bar. 

Recorded with a tascam sitting on a pillow on my couch. Samples are the  BBC Symphony Orchestra which was definitely acoustic when it was sampled. Drums are ableton packs of acoustic kits so HMU if you wanna drum on this.
