In response to "Now I want to know if Lydia has a rephyrgerator in her flat?".

No, she doesn't. This is a problem because now Lydia has no place to put the leftover Mixo soup which is an attraction to all the monkees. Meanwhile, Doria and freaky Phrygia are still busy figuring out whether they are same or not. There are rumours that it depends on the root. Unfortunately --- no rephrygerator = neither carrots nor celeriac. (Why did I even start this.)

MARIUSZ DUDA | CLAUSTROPHOBIC UNIVERSE

This cover is off an album by Mariusz Duda, member of the band Lunatic Soul, made during lockdown and to me that explains the title of this track. Although it’s also a funny contradiction, calling an endless universe claustrophobic. The original features some acoustic piano, although heavily processed and brought into an environment of electronic sounds especially a synthesized arpeggio part that accompanies the entire track and gives it a constant drive. 
I liked the track immediately and could imagine an acoustic guitar version, so I arranged it as such, trying also the reproduce some of the electronic effects manually. Everything here is classical / flamenco technique fingerpicking though.

In my collection of travel field recordings, there is a very strange tape that I don't remember having recorded... It's with this tape that I made most of this montage, with a few others field recordings also caught in Zagreb...

Les Ailes D'Irigniz  - Ydaligard Chapitre II

Literature is a major influence on my music.  As a boy, in the 1960s, I read cowboy novels by Zane Grey (1872 - 1939), e.g. "Riders of the Purple Sage", but no other Westerns until recently.

In April 2023, I'd just finished reading "Butcher's Crossing" by John Williams, which spurred this composition. The novel is set mainly in Colorado and has many highly visual passages. This is one of them. A young man forgets to wear his improvised buffalo-hide eye slits (1870s tech) after a huge blizzard and temporarily loses his sight. His eyes don't recover for many hours, giving rise to much internal anguish as to what his life as a totally blind man might be thereafter.

The piece uses a blues scale to give that North American feel.
