When I first started producing I lived in a house with an orange door and would tell people who came over to "knock on the orange door." When I moved, I named my new home studio Orange Door Studios. I want this album to be an invitation into who I am as a producer in this moment.

This version, Postcards in the Rain, feels like a very honest, quiet moment I needed to share. It sits in that sweet spot where a simple Chillhop beat meets a tender, cinematic melody. It’s carried by those catchy, loopy chords and a smoky mezzo vocal that tries to tell a secret in the middle of the night.

The Heart of the Song
This song is just me sitting in the stillness, trying to figure out how to miss someone gracefully. It’s about being stuck in that beautiful, messy place where the world moves on, but you just can't.

The Reflection (The Bridge): That low-key spoken word section is where I'm most vulnerable. I admit I still hum your song that skips on the last chorus. The world outside forgets our steps, but I still dance in the mess. It's the simple truth: I stay the same, sending postcards in the rain.
