If you want quality techno grooves, then Alfred Heinrichs is the man for you. This year, he dropped tunes like "If You," "Easy Come Easy Go," and "In Liebe Mit Mir" for the masses to consume. While these tunes all landed on Supdub Records, he couldn't stay away from I AM MELODIC TECHNO for too long, and he released "Regenbogenbrücke (Let Them Go)" to satiate that craving earlier this month.

As the fall months kick into gear, Alfred Heinrichs dropped off a mix that encapsulates the season's vibes. "Let the rhythm guide you through the heat, where every beat becomes a memory and every moment, a melody," he said about the techno-fueled mix.

I put together a mix to listen to whilst driving, waiting at gates, or just to get hyped for this year’s burn : )

This mix isn't what I set out to mix, but sometimes the story tells itself. This is an emotional journey telling the story of a long night spent wandering deep playa. You know how it goes, right?

First comes the excitement; the anticipation of the journey. It’s magical! I’m ready! let’s go! Think of all the wonderful and weird things afoot!

So you boot up; fill your packs; gather proper playa supplies. And you set out! You bike through the city and towards the man.. it's a magical adventure. Oh look, there’s Hardly’s! Shit looks weird. Awesome! Hey dude on your bike, watch out! Okay cool I see the man! Let’s head for the temple! Okay which way now? Let’s go right!!

Wow it’s dark. i think i see something out there, let’s keep going! OMG it’s a fire breathing ice cream cart! sweet! oh wait i’m not hungry. Ok, let’s keep biking, I think I hear music. Yes a random art car... let’s dance! This is fun! It’s just what i was looking for! Actually this is a little weird, everyone is moving but is anyone really dancing.. let’s hang for a bit. Uh, this is kinda dark. Do i like it? Yes i do. Wait no, i don’t. Ok let’s keep biking i gotta find what i’m looking for! I don’t know what i’m looking for!

Ahh, it’s out here somewhere.. we just gotta keep going. Let’s go, there’s something up ahead. Yes! Oh wait., it’s the trash fence. There’s no one here.. we’re all alone. this isn’t what i’m looking for. Will i find it? why did we go this way? I don’t think i’ll find it! no, i can’t waste this night...

ok. wait.

breath.

Ok.. this is.. ok? What’s that? Who's there? Do i want a hug??? Uh, Yes I do! Sure dude in a dinosaur onesie! Oh man, thank you. i needed that. This is magical! Ok let’s go!

Another art car.. oh, it’s vibing. Let’s dance. Yes! This is great! I’m floating! Look at all those smiles! OMG this is it! This is what i was looking for! The sky! Is it turning purple? Wow is it almost morning? Look the sun! It’s rising! Everyone is still smiling! Omg that heat from the sun’s first rays! Yes! This is my home; this is where i belong. How did i ever doubt that? 

That’s right.. this my home. It’s where I dance. I love it here. Let’s do it again tomorrow 💜
