London-based electronic female-male duo Jamka serve up a dynamic and energetic live set for November’s podcast. Originally hailing from the Slovakian noise scene, they explore the dark and rhythmic side of techno, industrial and noise music using analogue machines. 
Their recent excellent album Inter Alia on Urbsounds, which they presented extensively in the form of live concerts, is evidence of this versatility and earned them a nomination in the Slovakian Radio Music Awards in the experimental music category.

The live set here was recorded at Café Oto earlier this year. Gear used: Monika used a Spectralis for beats and frequencies, while Daniel used a Roland MC202 (customised by Analogue Solutions so it’s semi-modular) as the main sound source, which goes through Knas spring reverb, then to a Moog ring modulator and then to an Erica synth filter, plus moog delay.
