I'm the lead singer and songwriter for the named band Ten Feet Taller.  I write a lot so I put out a lot of product. Forgive us for making this cool noise.   I'm very grateful to be able to play around my progressive little town a few times a month which is so much fun.  I get to do everything I write since it's just me and my guitar.  I don't know if every song works, but who cares.  I love the creative process.  I'm blessed to have a vivid musical imagination.  There have been many times someone has told me they were touched by one of my songs. My personal influences range from Prince, Stevie Wonder, DMB, Ben Harper, to Sade, Norah Jones, Nikka Costa, and Grace Jones.  Recently a nice lady came up to me after a show and said my music was "mesmerizing". I was playing in the back of a local wine shop with the front doors open and me plugged in.  My levels were tight and so was the set.  Whatever song I was playing at the time brought her in.  Turns out she bought something as well which made the owners happy and that made me happy.  Then I got to thinking about the cause and effect that moment produced. If I had not made the leap to start putting my music out there, that nice lady would not have been mesmerized and then in turn dropped some cash and buy a few bottles. I make music because I believe it's what I'm here to do. I don't feel late to the party.  Maybe that's why the music is so different from what I hear everyday.  I have no plans to stop being creative which is great because I can't wait to see where music can take me.
