Gerald VDH’s long-awaited debut album is about to hit the shelves.

After more than ten years on the techno scene, hosting Vienna’s infamous MEAT MARKET parties, playing DJ gigs in some of the best clubs around the globe, and releasing four solo EPs on his very own label MEAT Recordings, it is time to take his profile as a producer to the next level.

And this is exactly what SNACKS will do for Gerald. Besides delivering some of his typical techno bangers (PUSH, WASTE OF GOOD CEREAL, WINNING STREAK, EVERY ME) and a breaky roller in the legacy of his hit Otto Wagner Green (FEVER), he has taken some considerable risk by showing a completely new side of his production in the studio: WASH ME and SAIL AWAY are coops with Viennese singers, that could quite plausibly be described as pop songs. GAY DAD offers some Rammsteiny vibes along with some provocative, yet sexy lyrics.

SNACKS also features two amazing remixes by CHRISTOPH FAUST and PROJEKT GESTALTEN. The double 12” vinyl comes in a precious gatefold cover with a breathtaking 3D rendered artwork by Jesus Florez (Bogota, Colombia), which is, in effect, a work of art for itself.

SNACKS will hit the shops and digital platforms in the middle of pride month on June 10th this year.

Delirio presents "Time Is Over", a two-track EP composed by Italian artist Simone Scardino aka CONCEPTUAL. Yet again Simone proves that he has developed his own sound: Discretion, energy and mysticism transport us into his three-dimensional world, fusing body and soul with the mental and introspective side of techno. The EP will be available on 10inch transparent vinyl as well as digitally, scheduled for release on the 15th September 2022.

Autokinetic’s techno roots reach back to 1993 when Mike McClure and John Golden formed
Auto K in Minneapolis, forming the vibrant MPLS rave scene alongside Freddy Fresh,
Woody McBride, and DVS1. Auto K then changed their name to Auto Kinetic, and now Mike
McClure is ripping hypnotic modular techno in hyperspace solo as Autokinetic. These tracks
have been secret weapons in DVS1 sets for the past couple years.

The A side consists of “Sidewinder” and the cheekily titled “Didgeradont”. Both of these are
bonafide heady techno hits. I mean, the production on these...higher consciousness
inducing dancefloor rolling mania. For the old ears and fresh feet alike.
The B side opens up with “File003”, which has a robotic restraint and up-beat bassline to
keep you locked in for the never ending tunnel ride of a track. “Wakeword” ends the EP with
a proper, slightly acidic challenger to meet all late night crowds with taste. But no chin
scratching here. This is techno at its tastiest. Mike is a pro who knows how to kick and
punch with full peak euphoric power. He’s been in the game for three decades at this point,
and is still pushing his craft and himself to new heights.

The third release of the label showcases the stirring sound of one of its earliest collaborators, Mediane. After their contribution on Various Énervé with Birds Hill, the French duo deliver 3 tracks tailored for the darkest clubs. 

The eponymous opening title ‘2072’ is a beatless ambient track that serves as a perfect intro to the abyssal vibe of the EP. ‘Fraction’ and ‘Aber’ both stand out as hypnotic and relentless beats well suited for peak time on the dancefloor. 

Robert S (PT) delivers his own cut of ‘Fraction’, a contrasting vibe with a similar objective: keep the party’s pulse high, while Moteka closes out the release with a deafening 135bpm remix of ‘2072’.

Out on an ultra-limited series of 12" vinyl and all digital platforms from January 25, 2020.
