Oi oiiiii the Edit Room is back once again, this time with a flip of Booty Luv’s “Boogie 2nite” from none other than @Longeez. The Bristol-based DJ and producer burst onto the scene with his debut EP and vinyl release on Canapé Records in December 2020. From the darker UKG and breaks of his ‘Illicit Materials’ EP, Longeez has shown his versatility through a recent feel-good UKG release on Eminent’s free download series. If ur building a summer 2021 playlist look no further, this one was made for the sunny days we’re finally living in 😎

not even quite sure where to start with this one. the first phase brings through some old school breaks vibes with that hypnotic repetitive tone rolling into the build up. the drop kicks off the more garage-styled section of the track, with the mesmeric looping on that funky vocal keeping things fresh and vibey. @lawlessmusic came onto our radar in the last couple months and i’m sure others who’ve been in touch with him will agree that it’s crazy how much material he’s got. all kinds of genres and moods, and he’s only just getting started. you’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the scene and on algo:riddims in the near future so don’t sleep -  drop him a follow now so you can say you got there first 🔥
