When life hits us in the face with obstacles and challenges, we are quick to blame life and to judge ourselves. ⁣

Challenges are not happening to us; they're happening for us, and for a reason.

We often want to blame something else whether it’s our circumstances, people around us, or a higher power for things that happen to us, but we forget our role in life when life doesn't go as planned.

Every experience is individual. Every reaction is personal. But what if we stop blaming the world for our problems and become accountable for them instead? What if we began to ask, ‘what is this experience trying to teach me’ as opposed to ‘why is this happening to me?’⁣

I’m not saying that whatever is happening is your fault. But I am saying that every experience is a learning opportunity. Your goal is to find what that something is. Your goal is to learn from life over time. The obstacles are there to benefit you just like your celebrations are, but sometimes we have trouble seeing this side of the story.⁣

Don’t ever forget that each experience is temporary. Instead ask your self this: how do I want to come out of each experience? Because although life is fleeting, growth is forever.
