FDFDM is a bridge between the energy of '80s and '90s dance floors and the dizzying intensity of the sounds that herald the end of times. An emotional journey between nostalgia for the past and the void that the future represents. It’s an ode to underground club culture which, in the face of an increasingly fascist world, remains a bastion of freedom, rebellion, and transgression.

A context where the only thing left to do is dance and sweat in community.

With this work, KMILA wanted to represent different sides of her personality, merging her sweet and joyful nature with her darker and sadder thoughts, translating them into a danceable, minimalist, and club-oriented sound. It’s inspired by her favorite genres such as techno, trance, and Latin rhythms.

COAL, es una dj y productora proveniente de la costa venezolana, de la ciudad de Maracaibo, estado Zulia. Es aquí, a principios del 2018, donde inicia su travesía por el imaginario sonoro del trópico con fuertes influencias del folklore venezolano y corrientes musicales que nacieron en los barrios de Venezuela.

Los pasajes del Caribe, influencia fundamental al momento de hacer curaduría para cada DJ set, pero también se manifiestan irresistiblemente en sus producciones musicales, con un enfoque que trata de dibujar con sonidos, postales de la cotidianidad venezolana a través de una perspectiva actual, fresca, y con mucho sabor caribeño.
