Prologue:

In the heart of the forest, there are creatures that never sleep. They are the sleepless ones, psychedelic beings that come to life when the night falls. They dance around the fire with the forest spirits, their movements fluid and graceful, like waves on the shore.

Their bodies are adorned with intricate patterns and colors that seem to glow in the dim light of the fire. Their eyes are wide and bright, reflecting the flames like jewels. They move to the beat of the drums, their bodies twisting and turning in perfect harmony.

As the night wears on, the sleepless creatures become more and more vibrant, their energy pulsing through the forest like a living thing. They leap and spin, their movements wild and untamed. The forest spirits watch them with fascination, their faces alight with wonder.

And then, as the first light of dawn creeps through the trees, the sleepless creatures begin to fade. Their bodies become translucent, their colors blending into the mist that rises from the forest floor. They disappear into the shadows, leaving behind only the memory of their wild, beautiful dance.

For those who have witnessed the sleepless creatures, the memory lingers like a dream. They are a reminder that there is magic in the world, if only we know where to look for it. And if we listen closely, we can still hear the echo of their laughter, ringing through the trees like a promise of joy and wonder.

The cave is unknown, it could be an animal that entered,  the depths of the abyss and was unable to get out.
The helmet brings with it a huge load of battles, the helmet causes an interpretation of terror to anyone who looks directly at it

The hat causes an immeasurable power of wisdom in all who wear it, but curses live in its astes. He causes enormous hatred for life and seems to have a voice of his own.

The mascara emits its own light, it seems to glow in the dark, it doesn't seem to have shadows in the light.
It emits an indescribable strength to whoever uses it,
Ancient generals used it to hunt former leaders, curiosity, no one lost a battle using this piece..

The project was born in the time of the global pandemic, when techno producer and DJ "Nnamael" and her life partner, dedicated darkpsy-head and longtime meditation-practitioner "Gyatso" decided to start a music project together that represents what they love most about the darker aspects of psychedelic trance: immersion, darkness, organic sounds, and a majestic presence. The project name is a subtle allusion to the pandemic and the broken era of discord in which we live. At the same time, it is also representative for their sound: Enjoy the ride through the downward spiral.

In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. Algorithium is the psychedelic trance project of 25 year old Dave Zappia. After greatly enjoying the Sydney psytrance scene since 2011, the need to compose and contribute his own flavour of dark, emotional and psychedelic sounds became too great to ignore and so experimentation began in 2016.

Algorithium has particpated in multiple V.A.'s from some of the best night/dark psychedelic labels in the world such as Deviant Force Records, Sonic Loom Music, Goanmantra Records & Katayy Records, Dave is still trying to perfect and develop his own sound which has healthy influences from the Greek psychedelic style. 

Dave's sound fuses elements of Darkpsy and Forest, normally but not limited to the 150 to 160 bpm range. The sound is eerie, visceral and deep with heavy drive whilst retaining dynamic atmospheres. The aim is to compose psytrance that directs the listener and progresses in intensity throughout a track. His synthesis of bass, percussion and leads aims to harmonise, meld and morph synergistically conveying a deep sonic message that language cannot.
