Worms of the Earth is the project of dark audio shaman Dan Barrett from Washington, DC, USA. He began his sonic journey around 2007, and has worked extensively within the industrial and dark ambient spheres; releasing 5 albums + numerous compilation tracks and performing dozens of gigs across North America. Around 2015 the project evolved to embrace arcane psychedelic soundscapes and fuses them with esoteric, biomechanical, nighttime atmospheres. The project is focused on weaving strange and unpredictable sounds together with deep atmospheres and energetic melodies into a powerful tapestry of audio magic & spiritual energy. Thematically, the project has always been deeply rooted in the pursuit of spiritual knowledge and ascension.

Cartoonish, sardonic, yet heartfelt and emotionally raw. Born from Nementïa Astrøphe's earliest years learning Ableton, these tracks have been refined and reimagined, still carrying the unhinged spirit of a curious kid breaking things just to see how they sound.

It’s a twisted jungle gym of naive sound design and arrangement, melodrama, cynical humor, and nostalgic tenderness. From demonic cartoon samples to near-death hallucinations, warped love, dead pet elegies, and the fight against existential boredom, each track retraces a moment of personal myth. Some naive, some painful, others deeply cynical, but all woven with a sense of playful disobedience.

It’s chaotic, melodic, and sometimes just ridiculous. The sound of an inner child throwing paint at the void and laughing when it stares back.🫣

For long, humans have been closely associated with Felines. In Ancient Egypt, Cats have played an important role in shaping their history as we know it, and the pineal gland appears to play a major role in the hibernation of animals and seasonal breeding. 

In some lower vertebrates the pineal gland has a well-developed eye-like structure and it functions as a light receptor and could be considered the evolutionary forerunner of the modern eye. The results of various scientific research have explained the phylogeny of the pineal gland in different vertebrate species. From the point of view of biological evolution, the pineal gland represents a kind of atrophied photoreceptor. In the epithalamus of some species of amphibians and reptiles, it is linked to a light-sensing organ, known as the parietal eye, which is also called the third eye.

Algorithium is the psychedelic trance project of 25 year old Dave Zappia. After greatly enjoying the Sydney psytrance scene since 2011, the need to compose and contribute his own flavour of dark, emotional and psychedelic sounds became too great to ignore and so experimentation began in 2016.

Algorithium has particpated in multiple V.A.'s from some of the best night/dark psychedelic labels in the world such as Deviant Force Records, Sonic Loom Music, Goanmantra Records & Katayy Records, Dave is still trying to perfect and develop his own sound which has healthy influences from the Greek psychedelic style. 

Dave's sound fuses elements of Darkpsy and Forest, normally but not limited to the 150 to 160 bpm range. The sound is eerie, visceral and deep with heavy drive whilst retaining dynamic atmospheres. The aim is to compose psytrance that directs the listener and progresses in intensity throughout a track. His synthesis of bass, percussion and leads aims to harmonise, meld and morph synergistically conveying a deep sonic message that language cannot.
