"Zaranjee is a musical reflection of Alireza Ghahremani's travels and the people who have inspired him, including the extraordinary musicians he’s met along the way. Each track delves into themes like journey, nature, love, pain, patience, passion, and the human spirit. 

Rooted in the soul of Iranian culture and its folk traditions, Zaranjee transcends borders, blending seamlessly with the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Latin American and Mediterranean influences.

The title track, "Zaranjee," is inspired by the "Gerayeli Maqam" tradition of North Khorasan and conveys the deep grief of a young woman mourning a lost loved one. The title itself merges two powerful words: "Zar" (wailing) and "Ranj" (suffering), encapsulating profound sorrow expressed through cries and whispers of pain."

Alireza Ghahremani is an Iranian guitarist, composer, arranger, and music producer based in Iran. He began learning classical music as a child and later pursued Iranian Traditional music, starting with the violin during his school years. His musical journey has since evolved, leading him to explore new paths through Jazz and World Music. His compositions are deeply inspired by Iranian folk culture, poetry, and stories, along with the vibrant rhythms of Latin jazz.
