I Gotta Know

ALIAH is Lewis's passion project for creating bright, feel-good dance music. Inspired by the likes of Rudimental, MK, Duke Dumont, and Joel Corry, Aliah’s sound is piano-driven with punchy house drums and high-pitched vocals. In 2021, when the world was in the midst of a pandemic, ALIAH tested the waters by uploading four demos to BBC Introducing. All four demos were played on multiple shows and broadcasts. Full of confidence, Lewis connected with mixing and mastering professionals in preparation for the launch of ALIAH.

Lewis has been performing and recording with pianos and synthesisers since the age of 15 and has always had a love for creating commercial dance music. Lewis has supported some of the UK’s biggest artists, including Becky Hill, Wretch 32, and Ms. Dynamite, and has toured the country multiple times as a session musician, which led him to perform at BBC Reading & Leeds Festivals and Capital FM Radio Sessions. His diverse skill set has also led him to work as a professional pianist for Four Seasons Hotels and perform privately in the homes of some of the wealthiest families in the world, playing in front of celebrities, high-profile figures, and royalty.
