1st Release: Letter to You

I wrote this song for my grandmother, Sabah (صباح), who passed away on April 15, 2019. While working on this song, my grandfather, her husband, also passed away earlier this year in January. What pains me the most is that I wasn’t able to attend their funerals due to personal circumstances. Writing this song became my way of finding closure. I hope that God guides their souls to heaven and absolves them of all their sins.

2nd Release: Welcome Signs

This song is for anyone who feels alienated due to their circumstances and is struggling to maintain a connection to their indigenous roots, culture, and religion. Stay true to yourself and let God do the work. Take control of your narrative and trust yourself to navigate.
