For episode 021 I invited RONA., the electronic music project of Keytetye producer, DJ and storyteller Rona Ngamperle. She grew up in Mparntwe in the central desert of the land now known as Australia, and samples soundscapes from Country to create beautiful, emotive electronica. The woman’s teeming with talent and ideas. She launched Common Ground, an initiative that centers indigenous people, knowledge and culture and the films she creates alongside her releases should really be at least shortlisted at Cannes. Our conversation is followed by a mix made by RONA. herself.
