FRANCIS BEBEY, pionnier de la musique électronique africaine dans les années 70 a été rehabilité l'an passé grace à l'indispensable compilation "Francis Bebey - African Electronic Music 1975-1982" sortie l'an passé sur Born Bad Records. Sous la houlette de PILOOSKI, initiateur du projet, c'est aujourd'hui la crême des producteurs DJ qui s'est mobilisé pour lui rendre hommage avec un casting imparable allant de Pilooski à Daphni (Caribou) en passant par IT'S A FINE LINE (Ivan Smagghe et Tim Paris), YOUNG MARCO, POPULETTE et ETIENNE JAUMET ( Zombie Zombie).

Alice Lewis spent her early years in England. She recorded her first songs while at Paris School of Fine Arts where her work with soundtracks, installations, audio engineering and her singing practice, gradually led her towards writing music. 
  Later on, she was commissioned to write music for short films, dance shows and advertisements (some of which were shot by David Lynch and Patrice Leconte). 
In 2004/2005 she travelled to Beijing, China, to study  singing at the National Peking Opera School.  She returned to Asia in 2008 in Taipei,  Taiwan to learn the Chinese zither, Guzheng.
In 2007 she composed  a third of the original soundtrack (including the end titles main song) of feature film "the Fox and the Child" by Luc Jacquet (director of worldwide success "March of the Penguins")
 Her debut album, produced by Ian Caple, was released in October 2010, on french record label "Naïve".  
Her second LP, Your Dreams Are Mine, is about to be released on french Nouvelle Vague's record Label Kwaidan.
Mixing electronic epics and melancholic ballads, Your Dreams Are Mine could be the merging of a female Nick Cave and the Updated 2014 Kraftwerk blowing hot and cold on the dance-floor or the listening room. Here, Alice Lewis is unfolding her acute sense of pop melody, catchy and romantic, which complements dreamlike lyrics oscillating like a metronome between a zenithal light and abysmal depths.
