HEART & SOUL 13 A New Light: Different Moods Set Off New Beginning
The original impulse for my Heart & Soul mixtape series is to explore lush, feminine sensibilities, atmospheres inspired by working on fashion shows. 
Conceived with pleasure in mind, these funky emotional soundtracks soldering eclectic selections and ecstatic outbursts connect the catwalk with distant balearic emotions, a naive and sensual hedonistic vision. 
After twelve volumes I felt it was the perfect time to push the envelope further and close a coherent chapter in order to figure out new spins on the dj mix to consume at home.
Music mutates constantly, as a dj you’re merely relying on what's around, new releases and what you can get your hands onto. Going forward is necessary if you want to avoid repeating yourself and keep creativity running. It's time to engage in different avenues and insights, channel some more abstract sounds and face new challenges.

"We had the pleasure to get our hands on the soulful house jam "Sunday Shoutin'", released on 4th Floor / Defected in the year 2000 by JOHNNY CORPORATE, the New-Jersey born and bred, NYC and DC based DJ & producer duo consisting of Doug Smith & Richard Payton. 
The original, remixed by the likes of Eric Morillo and Harry "Choo Choo" Romero back in the day, sold over 30,000 copies and even made it into the UK pop charts. We love this track and have been playing our own vinyl copy so much that it's all scratched and warped now. Very excited to share our rework with you! Hailing from Sydney, Alice is a proven performer, spending her time between the US and Australia she is used to spinning warm up, peak time and closing sets for almost every bar & club in Sydney, as well as holding residencies at some of the hottest clubs in NYC (Le Baron, Le Bain, Up & Down, ACME, Goldbar & Baby Grand).
With a distinctly feminine sound and style to match, Alice has played at many high profile soirees and has curated fashion show music for IMG, David Jones, Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week, Virgin Melbourne Fashion Festival and NYFW Fashion Palette. Specializing in high end parties and fashion events, Alice has been invited to play for names such as Louis Vuitton, Net-a-Porter, Chanel, Cartier, Moet-Hennessey, Paspaley Pearls, VOGUE, Absolut, GQ magazine, Veuve Cliquot, RUSSH, CÎROC, and Tiffany & Co. to name a few.
First entering the DJ world as a house music DJ it was not long before Alice landed her first residency at the world-renowned club night HedKandi. Alice’s ability to play tasteful music across a variety of genres with a firm understanding of style and edge has secured her gigs for some of Sydney’s most respected names in the music scene including Sneaky Sundays, Modular, One Love and Sweat It Out.
As her achievements pile up, her global exposure continues to grow, playing alongside Disclosure at the legendary ‘Space’ nightclub in Ibiza was “one of the highlights of my career so far” and has since resulted in club and festival gigs in Dubai, Europe, Taipei and the US.
Among the ever-increasing list of DJ residencies, Alice also hopes to dedicate the latter half of 2018 venturing into the world of production. With some exciting projects already on the horizon, it seems this is only the start to what will be long and glittering career.
