This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s alice.KM a DJ / Producer based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. She had her first DJ gig in Brooklyn, New York, in 2016 and not long after she was playing at major venues in NYC like Elsewhere and The Rosewood Theatre, whilst hosting hundreds of people every month at her own immersive occult-themed soiree, Midnight Society. She then began organizing her own tours of the US West Coast, stopping in at legendary spaces like Avalon Hollywood and celebrated festivals like Serenity Gathering. She began making her own tracks in 2020 and has had releases on Circus Recordings, Lady of the House, Fantastic Voyage and Delusional Records, crafting a unique sound that paints pictures as well as it induces dance moves.

Warming up from 20:30 on NYE 2024 at Camp Peachy with the Parallel Dimensions, 'Sparkle Dimension' themery. (Camp Peachy is an Australian based camp which hosts regular camping events and also attends Burning Man each year)

It's my trademark selection of anticipation to jubilant funk house featuring plenty of live instrumentation and vocals.

A bit of an unrehearsed set and it doesn't get more LIVE than having a rogue microphone in the background does it!? 

Whatever the case It all turned into a sizzling sparkling night and I was honored to share some tracks which have been on high rotation recently, to relax, groove with cocktails and let some extended mixes just play out beside the amazing costumes.

On that note I want to credit some of the key musicians who made this set a reality.

alice.km trusts her instincts. In truth, the nascent DJ, producer, and songwriter has never done anything but. Her instincts got her started on the decks, defined her ethereal production style, and guided her all around the world doing what has only ever felt like a need: playing music. In 2016, her instincts led her to her first DJ gig in Brooklyn, New York, and not long after, she was playing at major venues in NYC like Elsewhere and The Rosewood Theater. She then began organizing her own tours of the West Coast of the United States, stopping in at legendary spaces like Avalon Hollywood and celebrated festivals like Dusk Music Festival. She’s also spread her wings internationally, being featured on two prominent London radio stations: Netil Radio and BMC Radio. Now her instincts have brought alice.km to her current home of Phoenix, Arizona, where she is slowly but surely taking over the scene. In her present city, she has supported revered artists and parties like Anjunadeep’s Simon Doty and Drumcode’s Phoenix takeover, and she’s been selected to play at major events like June Jam Music and Art Festival.
Having only started producing in 2020 when the pandemic closed all events, she’s now signed to labels like Fantastic Voyage, Circus Recordings, Lady of the House, and Delusional Records, crafting her unique sound that paints pictures as well as it induces dance moves.
