Grid kick off 2024 with Contrast EP, a mesmerising collection of future-facing tracks from certified one-to-watch Plebeian (@plebeiann). The NYC producer is quickly garnering deserved attention for his acutely detailed and explorative bass productions reminiscent of Objekt and Djrum.

With his EP Plebeian offers up four shimmering and lush dance organisms that exist in an ecosystem entirely of their own. Microscopic drum engineering coupled with flourishes of dubbed out percussion, moments of blissful beauty and infinitely oscillating synth swells, all distilled to create 4D soundscapes that will captivate and intrigue the listener.

Roberto Semeraro (Pearl River Sound), under the pseudonym White Dove, presents the first installment of the second chapter in his ongoing musical tribute to his late father.

Released on Adepta Editions, this three-track EP serves as a direct follow-up to his 2022 album "The White Dove Pt.1" on Furthur Electronix. Each track is a poignant exploration of grief and longing, capturing the feeling of a life abruptly cut short. Like shattered pieces of a beloved object, these compositions confront the acute pain of loss while simultaneously revealing the delicate beauty of pure emotion..

Il vise à offrir une visibilité aux artistes de Bordeaux en Ukraine et d’en faire de même pour des artistes ukrainien·nes auprès du public bordelais. Une façon de créer des ponts et des connexions entre les scènes musicales de ces deux villes.

Bordeaux-Kyiv Exchange is a collaborative editorial format between Le Type and Kyiv-based community radio 20ft Radio. It aims to give visibility to Bordeaux artists in Ukraine, and to do the same for Ukrainian artists among the Bordeaux public. It is a way to create bridges and connections between the music scenes of these two cities.
