Flock of Seagirls is the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier all-female tribute to ladies of the ’80s. Honoring the legacy of women who rocked during this iconic decade, Flock of Seagirls plays hits spanning the genres of punk, new wave and power pop. Their set features songs by The Go-Go’s, Blondie, The Bangles, Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, Berlin, Cher, Toni Basil and more.

In the Pines

Alicia has been performing most her life, from theater productions, to jazz and concert choirs, to classical piano, to live bands. After receiving her BA in Drama from Stanford University, where she also studied vocal performance, Alicia spent a few years in New York City performing in some Off-off Broadway productions. She’s back in the Bay Area, currently singing lead with an all-female band paying tribute to ladies of the ‘80s called Flock of Seagirls. She was a founding member of The Muddy Roses, an old-time country/Americana band, with whom she sang lead and three-part harmonies for more than two years. She was also the lead singer for Beauty and the Beat, an all-female tribute to the Go-Go’s. Alicia has played in venues across the Bay Area, including Slim’s, Cafe Du Nord, the Boom Boom Room, Red Devil Lounge, Hotel Utah and Rancho Nicasio.
