In October 2023, Cosmo Vitelli @cosmo-vitelli played an unforgettable set at System Shanghai, thrilling the electronic music community. He later recalled it as one of the best time of his touring experiences. It's rare to see Cosmo Vitelli appear on a radio show these days, aside from his and DJ Sundae’s monthly NTS show, No Weapon Is Absolute. So, we are extremely thrilled and grateful to welcome him back to China through this summertime transmission.

Cosmo Vitelli has created a universe of his own. As the label captain of I’m A Cliché, he has been releasing music from some of the most exciting sounds since 2004, including Red Axes, Simian Mobile Disco, Azari & III, and many more. The label's name references Poly Styrene and X-Ray Spex, reflecting his deep love for punk and DIY culture from the late 70s. This influence traces back to his early days in Paris in the 90s when post-punk and krautrock played significant roles in shaping his sound. In other part of this universe, he has been tirelessly exploring and impacting electronic dance music as an esteemed producer since his first release in 1998.

The call of duty or is it a double date? Either way, this show, also known as Arco Spettro, is a pre-recording made many moons ago for Arpa, my dear friend Barnabe Fillon’s perfume brand. B kindly asked me to record a series of mixes representing each scent from its first sequence. One of the main inspirations for his collection was the documentary Sisters with Transistors, which focuses on female electronic music pioneers. Bearing this in mind, it seemed like a good idea to feature only female composers in these recordings.
