Axel Haube ist ein belgischer DJ und Produzent, der sich durch seinen charakteristischen Stil aus dunklem, treibendem Groove und subtilen, tiefgründigen Klanglandschaften auszeichnet. Seine Karriere begann früh: Bereits mit 16 Jahren legte er im legendären Café d’Anvers in Antwerpen auf. Seitdem hat er sich einen festen Platz in der europäischen Clubszene erarbeitet und auf renommierten Festivals wie Tomorrowland (Afterlife Stage), Extrema Outdoor und Circoloco Belgium gespielt. Seine Produktionen erscheinen auf angesehenen Labels wie Watergate Records, Truesoul und Future Romance und werden von Künstlern wie Tale Of Us, Kevin de Vries und Camelphat unterstützt. Seine Musik ist geprägt von emotionalen Melodien, hypnotischen Rhythmen und einer Atmosphäre, die sowohl auf der Tanzfläche als auch im persönlichen Hörerlebnis fesselt.

Making his debut on Purified Records, Aplexo unveils his striking two-track ‘Faces’ EP. On the flip, ‘Waves’ ventures into deeper territory, delivering a grittier, more club-focused sound with atmospheric textures and a driving groove. A confident first statement, the ‘Faces’ EP introduces Aplexo as a compelling new voice on the label, showcasing his ability to balance intricate production with melodic depth.

The ‘Faces’ EP artwork is an aerial photograph of the Knik Glacial River in Alaska, taken by Jan Erik Waider. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us.

Alaska’s waters are among the most productive in the world, sustaining rich marine life and vital fisheries. The Alaska Marine Conservation Council (@ak.marine) champions sustainable management of these ecosystems, working with communities to protect fish habitats and ensure a healthy future for marine resources.
