This set, like its namesake, the Summer wind that rises from the Sahara and spreads to Southern Europe, draws inspiration from the African continent with artists such as Djamou Sangare and Fatoumata Diawara and melds them with fixtures from the European scene such as Rampa and Mind Against.

My latest lockdown set is a whimsical concoction, mixing dark melodic vocals ranging from rock and electro-pop bands such as the Foals and WhoMadeWho, to classic Persian hits by Hayedeh, combined with brilliant productions by some of favorite DJs and producers such as Adam Port and Sainte Vie.  I hope the set will bring you a brief and happy respite from the daily melancholy of this Covid winter.
