Victor Young, 1944

A masterpiece, originally written by Victor Young for the movie The Uninvited. It has become one of the top jazz standards and recorded by several top musicians over the years.

The bass solo is a personal interpretation of John Coltranes solo on the record Miles Davis, Kind of Blue (1959) adapted to 3/4 tempo. This version is  the arrangement of the song I made in 1989.

As a drummer I just wished the drums were a bit... more. Pretty much made this for myself because I really loved this composition from @CharlesBerthoud and I'm hoping he makes a prog metal/rock EP with this style.
