EVENINGS: Love of distance

Materials: 12 Minute Lecture, many note cards, a lamp and one labradorite crystal

Recently, I have been improvising lectures by reading from index cards in a semi-arbitrary sequence to roomfuls of art students and guest artists. The cards are loaded with my own writing and with quotes from others who I have been reading. In these performances, I attempt to find meaning in the mess-pile and in the moment. Sometimes it is successful.
