Ambient guitar and synths a la Fripp & Eno's "No Pussyfooting" -  as I saw them play it live in 1975 it's an unintentional likeness but one I am happy to endorse as they really are a major influence,. This is me also learning how to use my analogue synth modules and Ableton Live Lite. I managed to get my vintage Gibson going through my vintage Korg MS10 too.

In the last days of Punk before Post-Punk took over, this is a track from the demo The Klingons (of Hildenborough) made in April 1979. The band played 5 gigs in Maidstone & London before splitting up under fairly disastrous circumstances. Not to be confused with The Klingons (of Bishop Stortford).

Drum Heavy

Improvised live at Denmark Street Studios, London, 1982. Terrible sound, lovely dreamy, sad, sad track, redolent of the troubled times of today. Note the spoonerisms by the vocalist Joanne as she tries to recite what she sees around her in the vocal booth; "Swastikas on the beading, plastic panelling, polystyrene ceiling". These were the days of Sabra & Chatila massacres in Beirut and somehow these international troubles bled into her words and became "Palestine searing" instead of "polystyrene ceiling". Joanne: vocals, Mark Ryder: guitar, Mark Eason: guitar, Pat Smith: drums, Fergus Crockford: bass. No idea who the engineer was. Wilf was there.
