These are older tracks, from 1995 to 2019, albeit, a few are from even earlier, as in 1982/85/86. 

WHEN WE WERE YOUNG features guitarist/singer Michael Peace, who used to be with Roy Orbison in the early 60's. Also did session guitar for the likes of Sonny and Cher, Sammy Davis Junior...and others. Nonetheless, a great songwriter and performer in his own right...who always gave his best, and that coming straight from the heart. I cannot ind him here, on Soundcloud, nut he still can be heard on Soundclick, so I'd like to share that link here.

I know I should probably wait for this to be finished before 'sharing', but what the heck. Can always rue-load again...latert.

If this works out as planned, well, it will be kind o a mystery story...you know...his body washed up on the shore...he was dead and that's for sure...and those detectives, well, even the ones that are a bit defective always seem to get their man, just like the Mounties do...but they don't work down there in Chicago...and Mickey Spillane...well he don't ever come to Canada...least not that I can know...okay no...we gonna see where this goes...

Classic Fender Rhodes 88, Moog Sub 36 bass and Audio Spillage drums...nad maybe a synth solo to come....hmmmm...we'll just have to see about that...albeit, I wouldn't mind for there to be a ni jazzy saxaophone. Need more sax...not getting enough these days...oh well...at least I got my milk  and cookies...(I'll just slip in a little Micky Finn...you know...for the good of health...that's what the detectives do, don't they? Or maybe  that's just in the movies...me...I'm not in the movies, but I don't care anyway...I will still have my milk an cookies...and I not the Micky Finn, then just a touch of gin...)

I don't see many Arturia Vocoder v tracks here, yet, so thought. I'd do this one. Alos using Waves Bass Slapper plugin and Waves lactic88. Drums are SonciCharge Microtonic. That one, by the way, is very easy to underestimate and seems to be overlooked quite a bit.

Track 12, When We Were Young, features the guitar and a vocal performance of Michael Peace. Michael was with Roy Orbison in the early days of rock and roll. His guitar work featured prominently in early Sonny and Cher records. It was therefore, a privilege and an honour to have his performance of 'When We Were Young'.

I wish to dedicate this collection to the m emory of my wife, Minan, who was also my musical partner for twenty five years. Very  much missed.

Finally, kudos to friends made here on Soundcloud, and to very interesting conversations related, well, to music, of course, and all else that goes with being here, in this world.

So, let there be 'MUSIC IN THE AIR'...and if it be good music, from the heart music, all the better.
