Nicolson is a 23-year-old Dj and producer, born in Mallorca and based in Barcelona. He sounds minimal, sometimes electro / techno, as on this occasion. Highly influenced by the sounds of Berlin, Romania and Uruguay, he has his own sound, full of rhythm and trippy sounds. Neila's Dance is his debut Ep. It is a 3-tracker crazy combination of electric, acid, and spacey sounds that will blow your mind. Music like this is commonly found in raves on Mars, where aliens dance to it for days every time a lunar eclipse occurs, as a celebration. Alienated People Records is an Spanish independent record label based in the Balearic Islands.
It was founded by Enrique Franco.
The label's name comes from the documentary Synth Britannia in reference to the alienated "synthesists" who make music in his home studios and were obsessed with a cold future that they called alienated synthetic future.
The label was created in 2012 but really established in 2016 to promote underground electronic pop music and vanguard 3d design. The pillars of the label are passion for synthesizers and motion graphics, the dramatic touch of the players and the warm sounds of the vintage gear combined with the last modern technologies.
Their releases are a mix of different genres but all with similar emotional vibes and electronic roots.
The label first release was "Synthesizers & Flat Caps" by Nikeldimaggio and "No Love EP by Capsule Corp, the first alias of the owner of the label, who changed his name to Nick Wave when he started to sound more analog.
