Just The Breaks

The important thing is staying true to myself and forging my own path. That's what this mix is for. I love a wide range of genres and sub genres as well as enjoying the challenge of doing things different and actually djing in creative ways. House music is biggest part of my origins into the music scene and although i love playing all genres house music is what grounds me when its needed. Cazzy is an alien guitarist... one of two surviving aliens from the now infamous UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Cazzy started his interest in music playing drums and doing percussion. After that he moved onto Dj'ing Vinyl. "This was 50 years ago in 1973 into the 80's before many of today's Dj's were even born! Flashback to 1973, having a residency as a Dj in a NY club. Getting paid to Dj every Friday and Saturday night from 9:00 p.m. till about 4 or 5 a.m. it was great! There actually were no other Djs waiting by the Dj booth to fill in the other slots for me. Nobody else wanted to Dj when I was there. Everybody just wanted to dance." 
 Eventually, Cazzy started playing guitar with Dj's. (Everything comes full circle doesn't it?) He played guitar with Dj's doing Psy-Trance, Chill, Drum 'n Bass, Happy Hardcore, Breaks, Dubstep, House, Fidget, you name it. Cazzy has performed or has done collaborations with many Dj's and also live PA Artists such as: PsYncus Founder, Composer, Producer Christopher Peter Vanderessen-New York, Dennis Deyo-Rapper/Producer-New York, DJ Cub-Orlando, DJ Cyber-Texas, DJ Aeon Miller-Orlando, Rapper/McFreak Rodriguez-Orlando, DJ Nye (Matt Black)-Atlanta, Lady J-Jessica Barman -Orlando, Dj Losman-Christopher Losee-Orlando, DJ Jonny Tsunami-Oklahoma, Dj JRok-James Kenney - Orlando, by way of New Orleans, did one collab with DJ Saeed Younan - Earth, Kenn Moutenot and Charlie Torres, the drummer and Bassist with Rick Derringer, DJ Crudawg- Samuel Crupi - Orlando, Live Artist Mauricio Arroyave- Orlando, DJ Super D -NY (David Tolomei), DJ Reddman-Atlanta, DJ Tj Fonik- Florida, DJ- Berto- Orlando, Dj Darkside-Eddy Rush, - Orlando, Dj Gary Sisco- Orlando, Dj Glowboy (Daniel Fraser)- Orlando, DJ Logic... DJ Logic played in the group "Yohimbe Brothers" with Vernon Reid of Living Colour. (Cult of Personality?) lt was during one of DJ Logic's gig's at an "after-hours" club on Hunter Mountain, N.Y., after Mountain Jam, that Mike Gordon of "Phish" came up and told Cazzy he was "wailin".
Cazzy has recently moved...From New York to Dallas, Texas to Orlando, Florida, to the mountains of North Georgia, then to Tennessee and then to Oklahoma. For now, Cazzy is in Miami, Florida, although he has taken a break from performing as "the Alien".
